Cycling is one of the best forms of exercise as we age. In fact, many studies show that cycling can actually slow down the aging process in a variety of ways.

At LiveByCycling, we focus on the power cycling has to heal “the road rash of life”, which comes in many forms. We’ve learned how cycling changes the way we feel about ourselves, about our bodies, about our lives. No mountain is too high…not even Alpe du Zwift!
The recipe is simple: a spoonful of exercise, a dash of insight…and a heaping cup of camaraderie. Mix it all together and blend in a supportive and encouraging environment – that’s LiveByCycling.
Additionally, the anti-aging effects of cycling extend to the immune system. An organ called the thymus, which makes immune cells called T-cells, normally starts to shrink from the age of 20. But the thymuses of older cyclists were found to be generating as many T-cells as those of young people.
